The level of customer service seems to be decreasing. It is rare that you get acknowledged when entering a store. I understand that staff are sometimes busy with other customers, however, other potential customers can still be acknowledged with something as simple as a smile.

Another complaint is the availability of the goods that I want. It seems that more often now, I cannot find a local store that has what I want. I quite often have to go online.

As our lives become more busy, online shopping has the appeal of always being open 24/7.

I am slowly (or perhaps not so slowly), moving to online shopping, and it has nothing to do with pricing.
